Prevention Matters

Prevention Matters is a free and friendly advice service linking eligible adults (over 18) in Buckinghamshire to social activities, volunteers and community services.

Prevention Matters is delivered by Buckinghamshire County Council through a partnership of organisations, including the NHS, District Councils and a variety of voluntary and community sector organisations.

What is Prevention Matters?
Prevention Matters can support people in regaining confidence, independence and getting out. If you, or someone you know is perhaps struggling with :
· Remain independent in their own home
· Having difficulty getting out and about
· Feeling lonely and isolated
· Feeling anxious or lacking confidence
· Recovering from an illness
Prevention Matters can help find social activities, volunteers and community services locally that can help with these and other challenges that many of us face..
