Golden Information Day

The event was a huge success and we were amazed by how many of you came along to gather information and share the day with us; there was so much on offer, the sun shone and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves.

Huge thanks goes to the Princes Centre for hosting this event and their wonderful staff who were so accommodating and caring to all the attendees. We had a team of informed exhibitors who were inundated with questions and kept everyone busy and gave out lots of leaflets and freebies. Free health checks were on offer too, and many of you signed up to check that everything was as it should be.

The band played outside under the gazebo and kept our guests entertained throughout and we even had a magician to delight everyone with his slight of hand and card tricks. Refreshments were readily available, cakes, desserts and savoury treats were and given out by staff members and some volunteers.

All in all, it was a fantastic day which made us all aware of how incredibly important these types of events are; they enlighten and delight at the same time and it was so needed following the depressing times of the pandemic. We could not have done this without the support of the South West Chilterns Community Board who helped with the funding and to all the amazing local volunteers who helped to set up and tidy away at the end of the event. Thank you all. from Paula, (BOPAG) and Kim, (Princes Centre).
