‘Men’s Sheds’ is a network of local ‘Sheds’ where men can meet up to undertake hobbies among the company of like minded people.
The original idea was started in Australia in 1996 and they have about 2000 ‘Sheds’ throughout the country. There are now over 400 sheds in the UK.
‘Men’s Sheds’ are friendly workshops where men can gather and work together, share skills and knowledge or just have a chat and a laugh over a coffee. We are preparing facilities with wood working equipment, light gym equipment, pool table and ‘comfy chairs’. Anything that you can add then we are more than happy to accept. Come along and see what we can offer and more importantly what you can offer to our new ‘Shed’ in Winslow.
We have been given the use of temporary facilities in Station Road (Opposite Chapman Autos and next to the Car Wash) as a start up with some excellent potential and facilities. We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will be pleased to see you, just come along and say hello!
