BOPAG takes your privacy seriously and we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy explains when and why we collect personal information.

How do we collect information about you

BOPAG only holds information that you give us when you ask to join our mailing list.

BOPAG does not obtain details about individuals from third parties.

What type of information is collected from you

To enable BOPAG to send information to you, we will collect the following information dependent on the chosen communication method

    • Email: In this instance, names, e-mail addresses and, if given by the individual, telephone numbers are held.  If the person represents a group, the name of the group is also recorded
    • Post: In this instance, names, postal addresses and, if given by the individual, telephone numbers are held.  If the person represents a group, the name of the group is also recorded

How is your information used

BOPAG will only use your personal information to send you the newsletter, meeting information and occasionally specific information of interest to older people where there is a deadline which precludes its inclusion in the next magazine.

Who has access to your information

BOPAG will not sell, rent or share your information with third parties.

In addition, if contact details for a member are requested from the Administration Assistant, the Administration Assistant will contact the member concerned to obtained consent that specific contact details are shared.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information

BOPAG does not hold any sensitive information (such as credit/debit card details). Non- sensitive details (your email address etc) are transmitted normally over the internet and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while BOPAG will strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security on information that is transmitted to us electronically. Once BOPAG receives your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our system

The BOPAG website uses cookies to determine the number of website visits and nothing else
