In addition to our major achievement in becoming a charity we:

Launched our new website in December 2024 complete with a Donate Button!
BOPAG has been gratefully supported financially by several organisations, namely:

A charity that supports arts and heritage, the environment, education and social welfare by awarding grants, fostering dialogue and debate, and through their support of Waddesdon Manor.

A grant-making charity founded in 1998 by noted philanthropist, the late Peter Cullimore MBE supporting charities and communities in Buckinghamshire.

A charity formed for the inhabitants of Beaconsfield and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinion, to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.

The charity owns and operates the Bekonscot Model Village, created by the late Roland Callingham in 1929 and located in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. As well as preserving this heritage and educating visitors on life in communities since the 1930's; the charity gives grants to other charities, specifically those that advance religion and are local to Buckinghamshire.

Key Challenges Ahead

Looking forward 2025 – 2026

Recruit more Trustees so we have an ideal total of 5.
Maintain our new BOPAG website to ensure it remains fully up-to-date and useful for residents across all areas of Buckinghamshire.
Pursue further funding to address the ongoing impact of inflation, including rising printing and postal costs.
Increase Hoot coverage to include the north of the County, and distribute paper copies to the many lunch clubs in the area.
Support the OPAG groups in Bucks and encourage more offerings across our County. HW and LC will visit each during this and next year.
BOPAG/Princes Centre event in October celebrating later life.

Thank you

Thank you all for your continued support. It is hugely appreciated

With warm regards

Alan Barnard
